Jessica Cloe Miniatures

I made my first dollhouse when I was about seven. Armed only with a cardboard box and a giant Sears catalog, I set to work.

My parents were a bit confused as to why I was so focused on this project. Man, I sure wish I had even a picture of it.

This delight in the tiny details didn’t waver as I grew up. Somewhere, some years ago, I saw a beautiful old dollhouse on a local social media marketplace and I jumped at it. I loaded up my three tiny children and headed across town with cash in hand to pick up a Dura-Craft SF 555 San Franciscan dollhouse that was fully assembled, but slightly worn out and completely unfinished.

Renovating this beauty has brought me so much joy. I’d love to hear your stories too! Drop me note.
